As distributors of CONNECTme NOW, we provide Sarawakians with CONNECTme NOW installations and prepaid coupon sales. We currently have teams stationed across the entire state, with offices in Kuching and Miri.

I vividly remember journeying 14 hours across all terrains to Kampung Ramuda for internet setup work. The trip wasn’t forgiving to my back, but the opportunities we provided to our fellow Sarawakians was more than enough recompense.

It has been 4 years since the United Nations has called for all States to prioritize universal access to the Internet. As simple as the task might sound, expanding internet access to rural communities is a herculean job on its own. On top of requiring viable rural economic models, specialist telecommunications knowledge and strong partnerships with local communities, Sarawak presents itself with unique logistical challenges in developing and maintaining internet access.

Despite such conditions, I remain convinced that our commitment to the people of Sarawak, expertise and passion in our work will pave the way for internet for all. We have made upwards of 500 installations this year alone and impacted more than 50,000 lives. The work carries on.
